    Introduction
Since I love charts and since my songs of the moment change from time to time, I wanted to share it with y'all

and maybe more interesting (at least for myself ;)) I wanna share some throw backs as well...

    |

    Monthly round-ups
At the end of every month I'm going to present the monthly round-up with the Top 5 of the most successfull songs ...compared to a throwback round-up

    |

    Round-Up and Year-end point-system
The point-system is simple. There are points given from 1 to 13, representing the positions on my chart. No.1 gets 13 points, No.2 gets 12 and so on...

The Year-end chart will be presented in this topic or in a seperate one at the beginning of 2013, with some special achievements going to be celebrated as well

    10. Heart Skips A Beat (Olly Murs)

Pretty sure to reach the top spot on the german single charts in the near future this good-mood jam is a perfect start for a warmer season.

    9. Ai Se Eu Te Pego (Michel Telo)

...and that's the track that still keeps Olly Murs from the top spot. Didn't like it at first but you just can't get around this right now.

    8. Anti Hero (Marlon Roudette)

Though his debut solo song New Age was a huge No 1 nit in Germany, I personally like this one a lot more.

    7. Marry You (Bruno Mars)

Feel good track by the ballad king Bruno Mars. The song didn't reach the heights of its previous releases but the chorus and especially the second verse give me everything when I sing along in my car ;)

    6. I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston)

Still can't believe she's gone. As my all-time favorite from her this song had to make my chart. RIP

    5. Young, Wild & Free (Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg)

Such a relax and feel good song.

    4. Someone Like You (Adele)

The artist of the last year. This beautiful ballad has something timeless to it and I feel every word.

    3. The A Team (Ed Sheeran)

Ed performed this song on the German Voice finale and I absolutely fell for it. The album is a great listen as well.

    2. End Of Time (Beyoncé)

As a huge Beyoncé fan there had to be a song in my personal countdown. Still crossing my fingers for this song to dominate future charts ww. ...one may dream ;)

    1. Just A Feeling (Maroon 5)

I loved this song ever since. Last year it was on the soundtrack to a german comedy film and this year I'm kinda obsessed with The Voice ...that's probably the reason why I'm listening to it that much at the moment.

As I said I always was kinda obsessed with charts... a long time before online forums were a daily use I made my own monthly charts... almost 13 years ago I penned down my TOP 5 of the early 1999:

    5. Changes (2Pac)

Still a very good track I love listening to from time to time. Guess it was the biggest hit of Pac in Germany.

    4. Can I Get A... (Jay-Z)

Loved the dirtyness of it ;)

    3. ...Baby One More Time (Britney Spears)

Released in september of 1998 the debut of Britney Spears still rocked my world around April in 1999. Maybe the best debut ever.

    2. It's Not Right But It's Okay (Whitney Houston)

Loved that track and still do. One of Whitney's most R&B influenced songs and my favorite of the My Love Is Your Love album. Also Rodney Jerkins (aka Darkchild) was so huge at that time... actually one of his songs made me fall in love with R&B ever since.

    1. No Scrubs (TLC)

The return of one of the biggest girl groups ever. TLC introduced their fans to a newer more modern sound. The Fanmail album is an all-time classic and still is on heavy rotation on my player.

04 (NE) Man In The Mirror - Michael Jackson
    05 (04) Someone Like You - Adele

    06 (03) The A Team - Ed Sheeran

    bubbling under
    11 (--) I Care - Beyoncé
12 (--) Man In The Mirror - Adam Levine & Javier Colon

A new week, a new chart

The single release of EOT helped Beyoncé to score my No.1. On the other hand I'm really just discovering Ed Sheeran's "+" and totally fell in love with it. That Michael Jackson entry is due to my crush on Adam Levine right now but that original song is just so epic (Adam performed it on the last season of The Voice )

Some great new entries and an unexpected big climb from Justin Bieber, that is what marks this week's chart.
I'm just really getting to know Rebecca Ferguson, but I for sure love her voice.
After a few spinnings I gotta admit, "Boyfriend" is really catchy and enjoyable.
Vanessa Williams brings up some nice memories, and I just watched Pocahontas over the weekend and I've always loved that song.

Great number one. Also loving Bieber's new single.

I get bored of "Turn Up The Music" a little, and "Irreplaceable" is just irreplaceable.

Great chart! Exclude "Boyfriend" and you've got a pretty solid Top 10.

    01 (01) End Of Time - Beyoncé
04 (NE) Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5
05 (10) I Will Always Love You - Whintey Houston
    10 (07) We Are Young - Free
You can search the entire universe and not find a single being more worthy of love than you.

Well, if you like Nothings Real But Love, you should defo check out the album as its good but isn't the best song IMO. Glitter And Gold and Fairytale are my favorites.
