Oh this is where the Brian/Justin relationship gets real good - Brian becomes human, so to speak.

Yeah, I just finished S2, E3 and it was so refreshing to see Brian helping out Justin, finally showing some form of affection (other than when they're sleeping together) towards Brian. Mind you, I didn't appreciate him blowing off Michael but they worked that out in the end.

The scenes with Emmett were pure gold! I love him so much! And then towards the end when they returned to the 'pristine' gay couple inviting a guy into their home, it was too funny. Shame Em didn't consent to the threesome though. I was kinda looking forward to that.

Oh, and Howard Bellweather is a hypocritical piece of scum. Just wanted to add that bit in.

Ted needs to get back on track (and find a job too as he's out of work at the moment, I believe), Emmett needs a new love interest as does Michael, and I need to find more time to go through this epic series faster. :x

The American series is good. I actually remember watching it on LOGO years back and I remember the characters the most over the whole storyline. Guess my memory faded away.

I liked the guy that played Justin and of course, Brian isn't bad either

Yay, another fan! Me + Hugo + Wayne + Miyuki + Bsquared + WolfSpear = Six whole people!

I watched S2, E4 last night. It was the "Pride" episode and it was fantastic! I loved seeing Michael in drag and the storyline with Melanie/Lindsay/Melanie's ex-girlfriend was interesting. Emmett was fantastic in this episode.

I just finished watching S2, E5 and I cannot get over how much I love Emmett! I loved the scene after Michael and Brian got the bid up to $10,000 and the scene shifted to the gang in the club and Emmett was like, "Your own store? I can't believe I know somebody who has his own store. Finally, I can get a fabulous discount...on something I have absolutely no desire to own. Why couldn't your dream have been cashmere?"

Ted is starting to scare me with this porn addiction, Justin was a bit of a brat but I think the scene with that artist Lindsay introduced him to really impacted him, and I'm loving Brian and Debbie more and more with each episode. Such an amazing cast!

Emmett is far and away my fave though. I just love him. He is so sweet, such a great friend! <3

Since my last post more than a week ago, I've watched E6, E7, and E8 from S2.

So much has happened. Emmett's now an adult film star (that one was certainly a curveball) and now he's dating this old geezer who seems to be sweet though.

The guy Justin met at the party was so cute! I'm glad that he and Brian set some "rules" but I still feel that when Justin met the guy afterwards, he was a total douche, exactly the way Brian was towards him in the beginning.

So far, so good though. This show continues to deliver episode after episode.

I haven't had time to watch much TV (outside of Glee and X-Factor) but I did manage to see E9, E10, and E11. I really liked the wedding (even moreso the events leading up to the matrimonial ceremony) but I wonder who caught the bouquet!

Since my last post I've seen E12, E13, and I just finished up watching E14.

I'm actually still reeling in shock at how the episode ended. I can't believe Brian actually let Justin do that. It's so...unlike him.

As for George, well, my heart goes out to Emmett but I saw that coming. I'm interested to see where Emmett's storyline progresses now.

It still baffles me how Michael was my initial favourite. The scene with the cop who pulled him over was funny though and it's great to see Debbie finally get herself a love interest. I hope Ted finds a decent one soon.

I've watched the first series of the British version. Is the story line the same?

Yes, for the most part - the general storyline is.

But the US version develops into something wonderful - and runs for 5 series. And if you aren't touched by it, by the end - you're heartless! Its just so wonderful, my absolute #1 favourite show ever!

Emmett goes on probably the biggest journey of the all the characters - its amazing how much his character develops, the Emmett you see at the end is so different to the one at the beginning, but he's still the same loveable, genuine, gorgeously camp man - if that makes sense!

I really must dig this out again - I just don't want to say goodbye all over again! :(

The show has such brilliant dialogue!

One of the most memorable lines thus far has come from Emmett though...

Your own store? I can't believe I know somebody who has his own store. Finally, I can get a fabulous discount...on something I have absolutely no desire to own. Why couldn't your dream have been cashmere?

Oh dialogue - you could literally write a book. It so integrated into gay culture. Especially some of Brian Kinney's lines - the most famous of which is definitely this:

So are you coming or going? Or coming and then going? Or coming and staying?

    ICONIC.

    We ALL want a Brian!

It still baffles me that he isn't gay in real life. The goodbye episode on YouTube that shows the actors in real life talking about what the show means to them a) makes me cry b) brings a whole new light to the show.

And then the cast interview on Larry King is just eye opening - its just amazing that barely half the main cast are real life gay men.

It's especially baffling considering all the sex scenes this show has! I swear it's like a drama and softcore porno rolled into one. It fulfills all type of entertainment needs...

As the semester's now over and I've got a lot of free time on my hands, I managed to watch E15, E16, E17, E18, E19, and I just finished watching E20, the season finale for the second season. This show is flawless. I love how there's always some interesting new twist to the plot and the character development is just brilliant to behold!

I find Ethan to be really cute! I love the relationship that Brian and Justin have but I see where Justin's coming from and I always knew that the pair would have some kind of conflict over their polygamous relationship even with the rules they set for each other. I'm really interested to see how this works out but I could see and feel the hurt in Brian's eyes when he spotted Justin with Ethan in the club.

As for Ted and Emmett, I remember saying just a few short months ago...

    Quote Originally Posted by JSparksFan

I love how Ted was nervous during the little dinner date they had and downed like five glasses of water. Then when he confessed to Emmett his feelings, Emmett did the same. The scene in Babylon left their storyline a bit open though. Are they or are they not going to be a couple? I want to know!

Michael's sort of becoming a bit irrelevant in my eyes. How in heavens was he my initial favourite again? Ben is really cute though and I guess it's only right to give credit to Michael for being one half of the creative force behind Rage. Oh, and isn't it great that Debbie finally got a new love interest who she seems to be growing to trust?

The Melanie/Lindsay/Leda drama was really interesting to watch though I must admit that I always fast forward their sex scenes (obviously)! Glad that they managed to part on good terms though. I realized that even though they aren't really the focus of the show they're a really strong pair and it wouldn't really be the same without them. I love them both for different reasons: Melanie for her dry, sarcastic humour and Lindsay for her unbridled optimism.

I can't wait for season three, to be honest! There are so many questions that I need answered. How long will Justin stay with Ethan? (I know he's got to go back with Brian eventually so it's a matter of when not if). Are Emmett and Ted actually going to date? Will Michael stop being such a whiny twat so I can finally like him again as I did in the beginning? I'm tempted to stay up all night and just have a Queer As Folk watching marathon.

I watched the first eleven episodes of season three and I am loving this show!

I knew Justin and Ethan would break up but I didn't think it would be because Ethan cheated on him. I found it a bit strange how he managed to bounce back so quickly and realize his love for Brian never truly died. Realistically, it should have taken a bit longer and I felt that the writers did that to appease fans at the expense of believability. Glad they're back together though!

How sad is it that Brian lost his job! I'm glad he did the morally correct thing though and I loved the scene with him and Debbie. I can't at the Britney shade from Debbie though!

Aw at Ted. That's all I can say. Really disappointed in him. :-?

Ben's a sweetheart for trying to help out the naive, ungrateful teenage boy though he was an absolute terror during his steroid phase. Good that he's back to good 'ol Ben though.

I love Melanie and Lindsay so much now. I'd say Brian and Emmett are my favourite characters at this point though.
