If these are songs off the album then it’s probably already gold in the USA

So true! No idea what happened with her / her team, but it‘s not good.

Everything since the release of 'Delirium' has been pretty messy concerning Ellie Goulding's marketing. Both of her first albums showed longevity on the charts and it seems like the people were here for that indie appeal of her music. Starting with 'Burn', it started getting more mainstream-oriented. That development continued with 'Delirium', whose era ended pretty abruptly. Although that approach didn't pay off, Ellie Goulding decided to go even more mainstream and still the songs haven't really done well. So I guess that her label doesn't have a clue how to market her but believe that 'mainstream is always good' and so hope that something will stick if they only try long enough... So far, that hasn't really worked in anyone's favor.
