How it's going to work: everyday (starting tomorrow), I'll present a few songs from the main countdown, with special info and banners - and 8 songs which didn't make the main list of 122. Why this number? Because it represents exactly 1/6 of the 732 eligible songs. So, in fact, all songs in the list will have a chance to receive comments and shine a little.

Specially because I'll post below songs that didn't receive a single point.

    Excellent presentation, Eduardo!

I must say I'm surprised no one voted for John Mayer's "Say". It's one of his best songs.
You have the luxury of choosing loneliness. For some people, it’s not an option.

I have to admit I probably don't know a single song of all them..

But I'm surprised a famous song from Eminem (Crack a Bottle) went totally unnoticed!

Thanks Akini! But I just spotted a duplicated song there, damn!

Songs that I already knew and liked:

Ella Fitzgerald - Mack the Knife (I expected no one would vote for this, but Ella is amazing!)
Eminem, Dr. Dre & 50 Cent - Crack A Bottle (that beat >>>>)
Fantasia - Bittersweet (love me some Tasia)
Foo Fighters - Walk (loved this since day one. The video is cool!)
Herbie Hancock, Pink, India.Arie, Seal, Konono Nº1, Jeff Beck, & Oumou Sangaré - Imagine (people will compare but I like it!)
Jay Z & Swiss Beatz - On to the Next One (amaaazing - shame I only had room for one Jay-Z song)
John Legend - Heaven (John great as always)
John Mayer - Daughters (one of my faves, shame he's so underrated on UKMIX!)
Lil Wayne - A Milli (I LOVE it. Haters get out)
Missy Elliott - Scream a.k.a. Itchin (typical Missy/Timbo collab)
Ray Charles - I Can't Stop Loving You (Can't believe no one voted for this gem :( )
Sheryl Crow - Sweet Child o' Mine (awesome cover!!!!)
Stevie Wonder - From the Bottom of My Heart (the whole album is good)
The Delfonics - Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time) (loooooooooove this! Everyone should listen to it!)
U2 - Walk On (good one!)

    Songs that I discovered today:
Aretha Franklin - Master of Eyes (A-MA-ZING)
Captain & Tennille - Love Will Keep Us Together (love the vibe)
Cee Lo Green ft. Melanie Fiona - Fool for You (whaaat? this is perfect, Cee Lo!)
Chaka Khan & The Funk Brothers - What's Going On (yess Chaka, beautiful cover!)
Chaka Khan featuring Mary J. Blige - Disrespectful (this is FIRE! )
Eric Clapton - My Father's Eyes (OK, the whole countdown ws already worthy, because this is one of the most beautiful things I ever listened to. Clapton is the king, period.)
Luther Vandross - The Power Of Love/Love Power (smooth, I like it!)
Sly & The Family Stone, John Legend, Joss Stone With Van Hunt - Family Affair (Joss and Legend, yesssssssss)

around a dozen songs that I thought, "How could I not give this song a single point?" but the competition was just too tough, tons of great songs!

Same here, 50 out of something like 700 songs to choose from is really brutal and there are a lot of strong casualties as a result

    Clues for tomorrow's first batch!
    * Huge duo that was also family-related
    * An artist whose song I'll probably have to search outside YouTube
    * A British rock band
    * An R&B diva

I agree, one of his absolute worst for me.

Didn't notice Luther Vandross was on the list with "The Power Of Love/Love Power", unfortunately. It's really good. :/

By the way, nice presentation Wardo !

"* An artist whose song I'll probably have to search outside YouTube"

    I'm guessing it's Prince.

    +1 Absolutely!

Sometimes i was like: "i can't, but I should...but i think...but then again...this song is so good, but that would mean taking away from this other one, but this other deserved it more, but i love this other one best ...aaarrrghgghhhh"

OMG, I hate that song so much.
You have the luxury of choosing loneliness. For some people, it’s not an option.

Thanks for the links mate, will try and listen to some, just to think that some of my faves would be there if I hadn't voted perhaps! :(

Two hundred and sixty-five songs didn't receive a single point. I guess I should check out some. So many, though.

Wardo, are you planning on doing such countdown with albums?

Wow, that's a great idea! But right now, hosting the Album Cup and this, I don't even want to think about it.

So Baha Man got points? I almost voted for Los Lonely Boys and T.I. (not like it would have mattered anyway) but left them out at the last minute.
