Just a little - but, against the odds, it looks as if you haven't prevented us from getting the lowest-scoring
    number one of all time
. It's still extremely close, with nine tracks (including three of yours) picking up at
least ten points each, but none of them have more than thirteen.....

Nice climb for Jax and entry for Meduza, really into those two now.

    Thanks CZB

I've just posted a comment in the chart thread. I didn't realise the points would end up that close...and low!

If only Adele and Rihanna were releasing singles this week. We already know about Selena Gomez - could've potentially had a three way battle for highest new entry of the week. Plus Coldplay are now rumoured to be releasing a new single anytime soon. Now that would've really made things interesting for this week.

The new video for This is real gave the track a big boost. Love the playfulness and shows off Ella's personality more. <3 I really hope this takes off in the UK charts in the coming weeks. Meduza's new track i'm also loving a lot thanks mainly to Becky Hill. I can't explain it but her vocals just work so amazingly well on dance tracks.

Great #1. It's something different from him. I still hope that we'll get Flicker 2.0 with his upcoming album, though.

"Lights Up" is rather weak compared to "Nice To Meet Ya" (although it's not bad).
I love to see "Echoes" by Lola Marsh on your list ;) - I still can't believe I won with that entry for Israel as part of Ukmix's Forum Song Contest ;)

Ariana, Miley, Lana is a divine combination! It's not one of the best songs this year but I enjoy it very much ;)

"Memories" is meh. Maroon 5 can do better.

    Thanks Mainshow

Niall came back strong and i still love this track. I love the bold confident sound that Niall has got going on in the backing music. In an interview a week or so ago, Niall had said that his new album was going to be more rock influenced to bridge the gap between the mellow acoustic tracks from Flicker. Still, there could be a couple of gorgeous ballads included too. <3

I personally wouldn't say Lights up is weak. I actually applaud Harry for being different and not bland or boring. Yes, i much prefer Niall's song by comparison.

Ohh regards Lola Marsh, you are the reason why they made my chart. I checked out the songs competing in September's FSC and Echoes really stood out both musically and visually. If i had been taking part last month, it's safe to say Israel would've received my 12 points too. <3

I agree about the Ariana, Miley & Lana collaboration. It was instant love for me, but it hasn't had the same longterm appeal on me compared to some of Ariana's other tracks that have been #1 in my chart.

Aww i know Maroon 5 get a lot of stick but i actually adore the melody in Memories. It's very catchy and easy to hum along to.

Busy week, good song by Duncan Laurence (ironically sounds like Coldplay five-six years ago) and two Coldplay songs (took me back to "Viva La Vida" days a little bit).

Indeed there were quite a few new releases that got my attention throughout last week. It's probably most telling that none had enough immediate impact to dent my top 5 but the new tracks from Coldplay and Lose you to love me are growing on me.

Duncan Laurence has released a decent new track although its been overshadowed now by the aforementioned Coldplay and Selena Gomez tracks.

My top 2 are still easily my fave two songs around right now. Turn me on was close to reclaiming #1 last week. They're still practically neck and neck regardless of order.

The Tinashe track is a grower so it could easily climb to a new peak.

So happy to see so much UK Mix love for Dua Lipa. I'm now hoping that this becomes the next UK #1 single in a couple of weeks times. It already fells like Dance monkey is starting to outstay its welcome.

Ahh yes, my boplicious top 3 trio of pop/dance anthems. <3 Dua had a rather comfortable victory whilst Sigala was kinda more fortunate to sneak in at #2. It's already looking quite promising that We got love will become something of a hit which i'm pleased about.

Not surprised Arabesque drops -it's kind of burning out quickly for me. I thought it would challenge Dua on my chart, but Dua's song is a bop deservedly at #1 again for you!

With your charting and heppolo's post, I checked out Agnes and really liked it!

Nothing can compare is indeed very good but i suppose the only reason for its lack of any type of success is due to radio stations not supporting the song. I think i still prefer I trance more overall, i loved the production on that track which is why it appealed to me more than Limelight.

Yeah it feels like despite Arabesque having the more impact initially, the more radio friendly Orphans has won me over in the long run. Ahh yes Dua Lipa is bringing disco chic to the charts and Don't start now is very comfortably topping my chart at present.

The latest track from Agnes is good although whether its done enough to spend a second week top 20 is left to be seen. I've again had my focus aimed more towards some of the weeks new releases.

Great to see your love for Dua and Sigala, both have been easily my two most played track in the last couple of weeks. <3 Niall Horan's song is amazing, i'm so happy he came back with such a powerful comeback.
