I bloody hope not, Arnott is one of my favourites!

There are so many questions and possible answers now.

I seriously stress out when I watch this.

It is the most brilliant TV and Thandie is playing a blinder. Though Arnott is getting on my tits a bit at the moment, I hope he's still alive. What a brutal beating.

    I can't copeeeee!! Argh!

This has been such an intense series so far (maybe the most?!).

She's surely will go to prison... she's in soooo deep!

Hurray for Steve! The interview scene where she whipped out her own line of enquiry about the sexism and corruption was brilliant telly, she's such a cold, hard cow. This series has delivered every single episode, I wish it we did 12/13-parters in the UK!

Wow, what an episode! I think it seals for me that this was the best series yet. I couldn't get over the "you're under arrest... no you're under arrest" debacle in the interview room! Love how it all tied together and left so much to cover still in series 5. Poor Roz after all!

Catching up on the third series now it's on Netflix.
The first two and the forth were superb but the 3rd might be the best of the lot!

All four series are on BBC iPlayer.

Watching from the start, it's magnificent TV!

Watched all of series 1 today, one episode after the other - absolutely glorious TV.

DCI Gates was a mighty adversary for DS Arnott (who by the way, has to be the sexiest man alive).

I've seen series 2, 3 and 4 so was wonderful finally getting round to series 1 and understanding how Steve got into AC-12.

    He definitely does.

Do we ever hear anything from the CI again that was featured in series 1?

I can't remember - but it would be weird having that whole story around the wrongful shooting left open as a loose end.

    Buzzing for the new series.
I think it will be a step up again in quality from series 4.

I watched all of season 4 in the last 48 hours.

I've now watched everything, all over again - the suspense is just unreal, it's unlike anything I have EVER seen.

Line of Duty series 5 filming details are confirmed... and fans go wild

We already knew it was coming, but series five of Line of Duty has become social media official, as the show has confirmed to fans that filming will kick off for the new instalment this year.

The hit BBC drama's Twitter account announced the show's production plans, writing: "filming will start later this year! #LineofDuty5"

Understandably, fans were absolutely thrilled with the news that AC-12 will be back on our screens before we know it – and there was only one way they could respond... GIFs.

(Aside from saying "fella", of course.)

Following on from series four's ambiguous ending, Adrian Dunbar – who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings – has teased that the upcoming fifth run will be as "dark and devious" as ever.

As for the key question of whether corrupt cop 'H' is still out there, and if it might even be Hastings, that matter is going to remain unanswered for a while yet, we're afraid.

"I haven't seen anything, Jed [Mercurio] hasn't told us anything," Adrian revealed earlier this year. "We're all keeping our fingers crossed that we're not bumped off.

"We'll be shooting the next series at the end of this year, some time in the autumn, so sadly we'll all have to wait until 2019 to find out what happens to us all."

Despite series creator Mercurio promising that series five will "delve into Hastings' past", we have a sneaking suspicion that we're not going to learn too much about AC-12's boss.

Well, it's always fun to keep people guessing, isn't it fella?

Hastings cannot be corrupt, I refuse it. It's got to be higher than him.

Like who though? We've already seen the death of a corrupt Assistant Chief Constable - doesn't really get much higher than that. Unless the Home Secretary is corrupt.

I think on the one hand it'd be amazing if it was Hastings, the ultimate swerve - it'd undo everything they've done thus far in terms of the prosecutions and the concept of a "bad guy" - you could a whole new season out of Hastings being exposed. That said, he's probably my favourite character and it'd be a shame if he was.
