I am not sure you really understood him in any shape or form. Lagerfeld was very self-aware. He is truly misrepresented in this thread. thank god I am here and sing his praises. I have been a superfan of his ever since I knew who he was in the early 1990s. so, do not come here claiming otherwise. I have seen almost all of his interviews and re-watched so many in the past 2 days... he was extraordinary and a great humanist.
